The Anhydrous floor is a type of PVC floor quite demanded by businesses that are dedicated to be facing the public. This anti-humidity vinyl coating is ideal for anyone who wants to neutralize the effects of this common mishap that arises when you least expect it, and also improves the conditions of the working environment in terms of physical load, as it is a softer floor than normal, which our feet are grateful to step on. This week we went to Pro-Fit, a physiotherapy center where a year ago we had the pleasure of installing the floor they are currently using. We are always looking for feedback to know how to improve!

Introducing Anhydrous Flooring: The anti-humidity vinyl floor covering solution for modern spaces.
Introducing Anhidro: a revolutionary damp-proof vinyl flooring. Designed to overcome common challenges associated with roll vinyl flooring, Anhidro features adhesive-free installation, which significantly reduces downtime in application areas. Its attractive, modern look offers a wide range of designs, from natural woods to urban hues, to transform any space.
One of the most outstanding features of Anhidro is its resistance to humidity. Thanks to the channels on its underside, it allows water vapor to circulate and evaporate, thus avoiding problems caused by rising damp (here is a link so you can learn more about this event). In addition, at the end of its useful life, this floor can be easily removed for recycling or reuse, making it a sustainable option.
Anhidro also offers an extremely comfortable walking experience. This makes it the ideal choice for reception areas, corridors and public, educational or healthcare spaces.

We interviewed Lidia Vidal, osteopath of the Pro-Fit center where our floor is used.
Why did you choose Anhydrous soil among all?
For our physical therapy center, we were looking for a floor that would not only be clean and hygienic, but would also last over time. Vinyl flooring seemed like a good option since we saw that they are used in hospitals and gyms. The problem we had at the center was rising damp. Supreme Floors directed us to Anhydrous flooring. They explained to us that there was no need to glue it down and that the moisture could circulate underneath without a problem. Another advantage is that the day we have to move, we could take advantage of the floor. We decided on a light parquet finish (ref: AN 001W) to give light to our center.
How would you describe the installation process?
Certainly, we had little hassle when it came to the technician who took care of the installation. In total the process took a couple of days. The first day they came to put a self-leveling material that served to smooth the entire surface of the room, this material needs a few hours to dry. The next day they came to put the coating and the process took them the whole day. In total we had to keep the business closed for two days, but it was not a great inconvenience since we took advantage of the time to carry out other renovations as well.
The floor has been in place for a year, does it meet your expectations?
Expectations met! Maintenance is minimal which was important to us. Also, being lightly cushioned and non-slip, it is pleasant and safe to stand on. We wanted to give our center a real makeover and the flooring has, in part, helped us achieve our goal.
