St. Patrick’s School in Sant Joan Despi is a multilingual school of reference in Barcelona. In summer 2018, to cope with a strong growth of students, they moved their facilities in the Can Trias de Bes farmhouse, an 18th century heritage building of more than 1000m2. They were looking for floors that were both resistant, hygienic and had warm tones. Acoustyl acoustic floors met these criteria and also helped to reduce the impact noise of 19dB.
They opted for the Acoustyl Cosmo range, combining 3 warm, natural-looking colors (beige, yellow and green). The result as you can see in the photos is spectacular.
With a cushioned base, Acoustyl vinyl floors provide real comfort for children running, walking or crawling.
The joints are heat-sealed with a PVC cord in the same color as the floor for a perfect seal.
In the bathroom areas, they opted for Safe S Top anti-slip flooring, which also comes in 2m wide rolls.
In order to obtain a perfect hygiene, the meeting between floors and walls was made with a half-round profile. This system simplifies cleaning and prevents the accumulation of dirt.
