Vall-Llobrega is a village of 912 inhabitants located in Gerona. For this town, it was very important to have a sports center where you could practice different sports but also have a room where to organize different social events or popular festivals. Another requirement of the Vall-Llobrega City Council was to be able to skate on the ground. So, our recommendation for this sports center of almost 1200m2 was our vinyl sports floor Sportex Fit.
Sportex Fit sports floors come in 2m wide rolls and have a thickness of 2mm. Being compact, they allow skating on them. A thicker Sportex sports floor, suitable for team sports, would not work for skating, as the wheels would sink in. The colors chosen were imitation wood for the central rink (40 x 20m) and green for the perimeter.
The installation was made on a dry and even concrete floor (a sine qua non condition for its installation) which was smoothed with leveling paste before gluing.
The high resistance of Sportex Fit to abrasion or foot traffic has made it a suitable floor for the organization of events in the village.
In this month of August 2018, the sports center has just completed its first year, we wish you many more years!
