The Teatre Lliure of Barcelona has commissioned us 200m2 of Rainbow Shine for one of its works, in the headquarters of the Gracia district.
The adaptation of the play “El curiós incident del gos a mitjanit” required a minimalist stage, with simple decoration.
In this work all the elements on stage are used to recreate multiple spaces. A table serves as a table, desk and bed at the same time. Some blackboards are transformed into the landscape of an English street.
For this unique space, they were looking for a resistant and smooth-colored floor. A glossy floor so that the reflections of light would be part of the atmosphere they wanted to transmit.
They chose RA SH 1240, a light gray with a gloss finish from the Rainbow Shine range.
Rainbow vinyl flooring is typically used as both floor and wall covering in moderate traffic areas. Thanks to its foam backing and hard surface, it is suitable for dances and performances.
It can be installed in schools, offices, waiting rooms, kindergartens.

In plain colors, the Rainbow range has a matte finish and Rainbow Shine a gloss finish. Particularly suitable for fashion shows, television programs, theaters or special events.
It is manufactured in rolls, and in 2mm thickness.
Starring Pol López and directed by Julio Manrique, El curiós incident del gos a mitjanit is an original play that will leave no one indifferent.
Critics have said that “Julio Manrique is crowned with the theatrical adaptation of this novel. LHe manages to create a piece in which the acting, the scenic arrangement, the play of lights and sounds are exquisite”.
