One of the leading companies in the world orthopedics market has one of its laboratories located in Paterna (Valencia).
This company specializes in the design and manufacture of orthopedic implants for the replacement of hip, knee, shoulder and elbow joints. For more than 30 years, they have been applying the most advanced methods in engineering and technology to develop long-lasting solutions for patients, physicians and healthcare professionals.
Some time ago, they decided to install Traficline PVC tiles, in 7mm thickness and in Steel Grey color, on the floor of one of their laboratories.
These tiles, suitable for public and industrial uses, were chosen because of their high strength and durability.
But a laboratory needs to follow certain safety standards to prevent accidents of all kinds. And it was necessary to signpost in a conspicuous and effective way the guidelines to be followed by employees in terms of regulatory protective clothing.
For this purpose, we were commissioned by Traficline pictograms.

In stock, we have some standard pictograms such as danger, stop, forklift, arrow, pedestrian, or forbidden to pass. Pictograms that are the most frequently used in terms of signaling and risk prevention. But in this case, they needed to communicate the mandatory use of protective glasses and safety footwear.
Safety pictograms – Visiofloor System
Since we did not have these images, we opted to use the Visiofloor system. It allows us to print any image at any size. It is not only possible to use it to print logos or photographs for a booth. But as in this case, we gave it another utility beyond aesthetics or visual communication, such as safety standards.
Thanks to this procedure, we were able to print the pictograms they needed on the yellow tiles.
And the result was a success!
