SUPRALAY
Anti-humidity PVC sheeting
Supralay moisture barriers are PVC membranes that provide a stable, continuous base that is resistant to moisture that may be present in the subfloor.
The part with the “rice grains” is placed floating downwards while the upper part of the Supralay is glued to the PVC flooring (e.g. Sportex, Acoustyl…). This “rice granite” texture allows air circulation and moisture evaporation.
Recommended soil for
Sites with dampness in the soil. Areas where the pavement cannot be glued.
Why choose Supralay
Allows the installation of vinyl flooring in areas with rising damp.

SUPRALAY INSTALLATION
Supralay Eco should be placed without gluing with the patterned surface (“rice texture”) on the underside, and cut along the walls and supports leaving a 3-5 mm gap.
The joints must be supported and fixed on the back side (i.e. from above) with 50 mm wide adhesive tape. The adhesive tape must be resistant to water and plasticizers.
Supralay Eco can be laid in the same direction as the PVC flooring. In this case, the positions of the joints in the floor must not correspond and be at least 30 cm away from the Supralay joints. A cross installation is possible (Supralay rolls perpendicular to the PVC rolls).
Supreme Floors vinyl floor coverings should be adhered to the Supralay sheets with acrylic adhesives (e.g. Thomsit K 188 E, Uzin KE 2000S, Ardex AF 100, etc.) or Polyurethane adhesives (e.g. Thomsit K 188 E, Uzin KE 2000S, Ardex AF 100, etc.).) or bi-component Polyurethane adhesives (e.g. Styx 956 by Bostik, Ultrabond 571 2K by Mapei,…). It is important to apply the adhesive with a spatula following the manufacturer’s instructions.
It is recommended to install Supreme Floors floor coverings with hot air welding technique. Allow 24 hours before welding the flooring joints.
