Rice straw tatamis

The 200×100 cm Ippon rice straw tatami emulates the original Japanese rice straw futons. These were hand-sewn and used for the practice of judo and martial arts in general. Suitable for all types of sports and martial arts, Ippon tatami mats are ideal for judo practice and combat.

Rice straw tatami mats are fireproof by default and its pressure density provides a much higher quality. In addition, its anti-slip is standardized, making the tatami overlap the floor without having to glue it in any way.

The interior of the Ippon tatamis contains a foam specially developed for the practice and combat of judo, since in this martial art falls are more frequent and therefore, the protection of the floor must be even stronger and of higher quality than in all other types of sports and martial arts, with a density suitable for this type of falls.
Even so, we have several densities, so that they can be adapted to other martial arts disciplines that can be practiced in the gym or sports center that request it.
