The people from Derraping came to see us and told us about their idea. They wanted to be able to assemble and disassemble a mini kart track, so they could install it in the right place, when needed.
To do this, they were looking for a floor that was strong. But it also had to be durable to withstand the weight and movement of the cars. In addition, it had to be quick and easy to install and uninstall.
The Bergo Multisport were the best choice.
Made of polypropylene and 100% recyclable materials, they are installed floating on the floor without the need for fasteners.
And they can be used both indoors and outdoors. They withstand sunlight, rain or temperature changes without damage. In addition, they provide good drainage and very fast drying.
This flooring is also ideal for all types of sports facilities. Its structure ensures both good ball bounce and excellent friction.
In this case, a floor with these characteristics was needed to be able to turn, or skid with the karts, since these cars allow the driver to change the angle of the rear wheels, so he can drive and skid forward, backward, laterally, or diagonally.
These tiles can be supplied in pre-assembled slabs of 3×4 units. This allows for even faster assembly and reduced installation costs.
To facilitate the expansion of the pavement, the system includes expansion joints, which are placed in such a way that they can be used to delimit the play areas.
The customer was delighted with the result of the Bergo Multisport Bergo Multisport tiles. They allow him to install and uninstall the track wherever needed in record time!
On their website, they comment: “Our tracks are portable, all we need is a flat surface. The average assembly time is 120 min and disassembly time is 90 min”.
