The Floridablanca Park remodeling project, in the community of Madrid, was managed by the City Council, who carried out a collaborative design project through several surveys, so that all the neighbors could participate and give their opinion in the process of deciding which reforms to carry out.
The objective was to transform this space into an attractive area for all users. And even more for the residents of Torrelodones.
Among all the proposals, it was decided to build two multi-sport courts, together with a children’s playground, a multi-purpose space for events, garden areas, etc.
And what better option than Bergo Multisport tiles to build two 3×3 basketball courts where there used to be a sand esplanade.
These polypropylene tiles are manufactured in Sweden. They are ideal for all types of sports activities: basketball, handball, indoor soccer, volleyball or roller skating, among others.
They are very resistant, easy and quick to install. And they are suitable for both indoors and outdoors. They withstand extreme temperatures, water and sunlight without damage. In addition, their structure ensures both a good ball bounce and excellent friction. And they are very easy to maintain.
This tile system has expansion joints, which must be placed to allow the expansion of the tiles when there are strong temperature changes.
These modular tiles are available in three colors: green, silver gray and dark blue.
For this park, 2 basketball courts were installed, one in dark blue and silver gray, and the other in dark blue and red.
