In a tennis club in Reus, they had a room of approximately 180m2.
This room is used for various activities: as a children’s dining room, or as a craft room. And the floor it had was a rubber flooring that was in very bad condition.
They needed a sturdy, safe, easy to clean and maintain floor.
They contacted our area representative, Pinturas Terra, and ordered Atlas homogeneous vinyl flooring from us.
This PVC floor is highly resistant to abrasion, hygienic and easy to clean. It incorporates a bacteriostatic protection on its surface for perfect hygiene.
It is suitable for public buildings, offices, stores, schools, or kindergartens. It is also suitable for installation in hospitals and high traffic areas. Atlas AS floors are dissipative antistatic floors, they can also be installed in rooms that require electrostatic charge control.
Atlas homogeneous flooring also features the ESD range, conductive flooring, which is installed in rooms requiring electrostatic charge control, such as public buildings, hospitals, laboratories, computer rooms or operating rooms.
Both are manufactured in rolls of 2 meters wide by 20 meters long. And in 2 mm thickness.
And it is possible to choose from several available colors.
The reference chosen in this case was the Atlas AT 8730 AS, blue in color.
The previous floor was completely raised, and Pinturas Terra took care of a self-leveling treatment on the entire surface, to make it completely smooth.
Once this step was completed, the Atlas vinyl flooring was installed. And finally, to achieve a perfect finish, the joints were sealed with welding cords.
The result is a room with a safe, highly resistant and easy-to-clean floor.
