The Muncyt Museum (National Museum of Science and Technology) in Alcobendas has just inaugurated the temporary exhibition “Behind the Moon. Exploring the limits of space”. This exhibition is an invitation to visitors to feel part of the beginnings of space exploration and the race between the US and the USSR. One of the challenges of the museum was to make it possible to live as in a domestic space of the 60s.
He commissioned this feat to the Barcelona-based interior design company Wasabis(wasabis.org). They contacted us looking for a floor that would recreate the environment of a house of this era, and logically, we proposed different models from our Harmony vinyl flooring collection. Harmony vinyl floors come in rolls of 2 / 3 / 4m wide, are easy to maintain and are ideal for trade show booths, temporary events or program / film shoots among others.
The model chosen by Wasabis was Harmony L Coronet 591, an imitation of “traditional” terrazzo.
The result of their work is impressive and thanks to the furniture and decoration they managed to make the visitor feel really projected in the past.
The wide variety of Harmony flooring designs allows you to travel back in time and find a setting for any number of projects.
If you are going to be in the Madrid region soon, we recommend you to visit this exhibition with your family.
