In this municipal gymnasium in Castellbisbal, Barcelona, they had a floor with rising damp problems. It was a problem generated by the proximity of the indoor swimming pool.
They wanted to install a vinyl floor, and asked us for a solution. We recommended them to place the Supralay typemoisture barrier under the flooring.
These sheets have a rice grain texture that allows air to circulate. Thus allowing moisture to evaporate.
It is manufactured in rolls of 1.45×25 meters and in two thicknesses. It is installed with the rice grains facing down, to allow air circulation. And the vinyl flooring to be applied is glued on top.
