The mechanical workshop Speed Boxes in Castelldefels (Barcelona) opened its doors in 2008. After years of activity, it was time to expand the business. To do so, they acquired a large premises annexed to the first one, with new machines to provide new services to their customers. And this enclosure needed a reform to adapt it to the tasks that would be performed inside.
When it came to flooring, they decided to use Traficline PVC tiles.
These solid tiles of 50 x 50 cm and 7 millimeters thick, are ideal for installation in both public and industrial places, such as garages, warehouses and industrial buildings. Because they not only withstand the traffic of vehicles, but are also very easy to clean and maintain.
The project
The original idea, as can be seen in the plan, was to install anthracite gray tiles, which is a recommended color for mechanical workshops as it is a very long-lasting, modern and easy to combine tone.
After making several plans with different options, it was finally decided to delimit several areas with a broken line of yellow tiles, which stands out from the gray color and allows separating areas where different activities are carried out.
They also ordered the Speed Boxes logo printed on the tiles with the Visiofloor system. A system by which it is possible to print any image at any size. They placed a logo at each entrance of the workshop, to help reinforce the brand image.
To celebrate this expansion, a reception for clients and friends was held on January 29, which was a social event in the city.
More than three hundred people came to see the new facilities and to congratulate the owners of Speed Boxes and their entire team.
