The Firs Stop chain of mechanical workshops of the Baldajos Group contacted us because they were looking for a floor for one of their workshops.
As we have already carried out several projects of this type, we know very well the characteristics that the floor of a workshop must have. Not only will it be subjected to the passage of vehicles, it must also be able to withstand the blows of tools or mechanical parts that may fall. In addition, it must be resistant to liquids and oils that may spill.
We proposed that they install Traficline PVC tiles.
50x50cm in size and 7mm thick, this compact floor has countless advantages.
It is resistant, supports without problems the passage of vehicles. Whether cars, motorcycles or trucks, if we are talking about a workshop, or forklifts or pallet trucks, if we are talking about an industrial installation.
In addition, installation is very simple and can be carried out quickly, without having to stop the activity of the workshop. Thanks to its dovetail system, it is only necessary to fit the tiles with a rubber mallet.
Its strength and durability makes Traficline tiles suitable for installation in car, motorcycle or truck repair shops. Also for industrial uses in factories, warehouses or industrial buildings, printing presses, machine shops, or supermarkets.
First Stop Avilés
The installation took place in July 2013.
Different colored tiles were used to mark the work areas. Gray or blue tiles were used for the repair areas, or green for the pedestrian walkways. Some areas were also separated with a row of yellow tiles. And pictograms were added to indicate the direction vehicles should take when driving through the workshop.
And the result was very successful. So much so that two years later we were commissioned two more workshops.
First Stop Cogullada – Zaragoza
As can be seen in the following image, the installation was performed without stopping the workshop activity. It was carried out during the month of July 2015. Total installed area: 382m2.
We repeated the different colors we used in the Avilés workshop to separate the different work areas. And we proposed a checkerboard area in steel gray and anthracite tones.
Some pictograms were also placed to indicate pedestrian zones and vehicle direction.
Safety access ramps were installed at the entrances for a better finish.
First Stop Oviedo
In December 2015, 314 m2 of vinyl tile flooring was installed.
Again, we present several proposals with the plans that we usually make for our clients. Repeating the colors used previously, and the checkerboard area in two shades of gray.
And this year, we have held one more workshop.
First Stop Viesques – Gijón
332m2 project carried out in March 2017. Again, using different colors, the different work areas were separated.
The repair area, pre ITV area, the boxes, or the crosswalk area.
You can see other projects realized with Traficline tiles, such as the Ducati motorcycle workshop. Also this other car workshop in Barcelona or a ITV for motorcycles, cars and trucks in Asturias.. If you want to see their industrial use, do not miss this industrial building in Catalunya.
