[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Domus Foundation school in Godella, Valencia was looking for vinyl flooring to renovate several classrooms in its building for kindergarten and primary school.
They were looking for a floor that would highlight the spaces, withstand the daily traffic of hundreds of people and be easy to maintain.
Roll vinyl flooring Atlas y Acoustyl were the ones they decided to install.
Atlas antistatic homogeneous flooring
Atlas AS is a range of homogeneous antistatic dissipative vinyl floorings. They are manufactured in rolls of 2m wide and 2 mm thick. Compact and with PUR treatment, Atlas AS is a highly resistant floor. In addition, it is easy and economical to maintain. It incorporates a bacteriostatic protection for perfect hygiene and prevents the development of germs and bacteria.
Their modern designs are multidirectional.
It has 2 ranges: Atlas AS and Atlas ESD.
The Atlas AS version is dissipative and the Atlas ESD version is conductive, which allows them to be used when electrostatic charge control is required.
Several Atlas references from the AS collection were chosen for this project: AS 8330 in beige, AS 8560 in green, AS 8730 in a shade of blue, AS 8340 in yellow, and AS 8530 in red.
The Atlas homogeneous floors are suitable for installation in public buildings, offices or stores. They are also suitable for hospitals and high traffic areas. And of course for schools or kindergartens. As a dissipative antistatic floor, it can be used in rooms that require electrostatic charge control.
Acoustical flooring in rolls, Acoustyl
Acoustyl is an acoustic insulating vinyl floor manufactured in 2m wide rolls. It has a foam backing that guarantees a noise absorption of 19 dB and absolute comfort when walking on it.
Its maintenance is very easy thanks to the Supraclean® polymer treatment it incorporates.
Acoustyl vinyl floors are recommended for hospitals, offices, hotels, schools and kindergartens. But also in places where good acoustic insulation is required, such as auditoriums, movie theaters, coaches, libraries or concert halls.
The references chosen for this project were AC Viva 3480 in orange and AC 3490 in blue.
The total installation was about 323 m2.
The different colors were combined to form figures on the floor, different in each room.
In this way, colors have a double functionality. In addition to a decorative effect, they delimit certain areas according to the activities that take place in each classroom.
