At Supreme Floors we are proud to celebrate 5 years of the ITV of Siero, Parque Principado, in Asturias. At that time we published the news of the opening, commenting on some of the details of the project.
This building was inaugurated in 2011, with a design that even today is avant-garde, modern and original. And for the floor the choice was to place Traficline PVC tiles.
These compact PVC tiles of 50×50 cm and 7 mm thick are especially suitable for areas with high traffic and that require a high resistance to impacts, the passage of vehicles and liquids that may spill, such as a mechanical workshop.
Not only motorcycles and cars, but also trucks and buses are inspected at this ITV. So the floor had to be extremely strong and durable. And Traficline vinyl flooring has lived up to expectations throughout this time.
More advantages of Traficline Tiles
Another advantage of this vinyl flooring is that its installation is very easy and fast, which helps to reduce costs. And it does not require stopping the activity to be placed. Thanks to its dovetail type system, it is only necessary to tap the tiles in place with a rubber mallet.
In this case, as we knew that very heavy vehicles would pass over it, we recommended gluing the area of trucks and buses, to avoid inconveniences. On the other hand, the motorcycle and car areas were left floating.
Another advantage of these PVC tiles is that they are very easy to maintain. They do not require special treatments and can only be cleaned with a mop with water and a little neutral soap. An automatic scrubber can also be used in places like this one, where the installed surface with these tiles is 1500m2.
Once again, we have been able to prove that these tiles, in addition to all the advantages they offer, are durable, resistant and withstand the highest demands.
